Origin Story
The Wib of Bib’s transformation happened completely spontaneously. One moment, he was a normal city-dwelling man, and the next, he was a red-and-blue star-shaped creature with twisting tendrils. Nobody knows how or why it occurred, and he himself cannot remember the moment of change. Since then, his life has been a mixture of grumpiness and reluctant adaptation to his new form.
Personality & Daily Life
Now very grumpy, the Wib of Bib navigates city life with a combination of irritation and patience. His days are largely spent trying to avoid being used as a net while simultaneously managing the chaos of urban winds scattering litter—particularly mobile phones and plastic bags. Despite his frustration, he has learned to tolerate occasional interactions with humans, though he’s always dreaming of a life free from the obligations of his tendrilled form.
Powers & Tendrils
The Wib of Bib can extend his tendrils to remarkable lengths and even grow new ones at will. His tendrils are highly flexible, allowing him to reach high places, catch falling objects, or simply sway dramatically in the city breeze. His body is roughly star-shaped, giving him a unique appearance and allowing multiple tendrils to extend in all directions at once.
Interactions with Humans
The majority of the Wib of Bib’s encounters with humans happen when they use him as a net. Strong winds occasionally send litter—plastic bags, stray mobile phones, and other debris—flying through the city, and people take advantage of his tendrils to catch them. While he tolerates this, he is by no means pleased with the arrangement and would rather be left in peace.
Desires & Frustrations
The Wib of Bib dreams of a day when he can revert to his human form. Until then, he longs for humans to respect his personal space and stop using him as a net. Despite his grumpy disposition, he carries on, managing his unusual abilities and the demands of city life as best as he can.
